Icicles earrings are a beautiful and unique jewelry piece that can be made at home with just a few supplies. You will need:
- Wire (we recommend using 20 gauge or thinner)
- Beads (optional)
- Jewelry pliers
- A sharpie or other marker
First, take your wire and cut it to the desired length. If you are using beads, thread them onto the wire now. Once your beads are in place, use your marker to make a small dot on the wire at the point where you want the icicle to start.
Next, take your pliers and bend the wire at the marked point to create a 90 degree angle. From here, begin wrapping the wire around itself tightly, working your way down the length of the wire. As you wrap, pull the wire taught so that the icicle is nice and slim.
Once you reach the end of the wire, use your pliers to make another 90 degree bend. Then, simply trim off any excess wire and you’re done! Your Icicles Earrings are now ready to wear.
