You’ll need:

  • 1/2 yard of fabric (enough to cut 2 sleeves)
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • Kurti or Churidar top

Step 1. Cut two sleeve shapes out of your fabric. You can use a sleeve pattern or freehand it.

Step 2. Sew the sleeve seams together, then turn the sleeve right side out.

Step 3. Slip the sleeve over your Kurti or Churidar top, aligning the sleeve seam with the side seam of the garment.

Step 4. Sew the sleeve in place, using a needle and thread or a sewing machine.

Step 5. Trim any excess fabric from the sleeve seam, then wear your Kurti or Churidar top with pride, knowing you added a designer touch all by yourself!
